1. Who we are

OnlyFood is a membership platform for food creators, run by [OnlyFood Ltd] of [registered address]. When this page says we, us or OnlyFood, it means that company. When it says you, it means you.

Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

2. The two roles

There are two kinds of person here, and one account can be both.

• A member follows creators, buys memberships, passes and sessions, and cooks.
• A creator opens a kitchen, publishes recipes, sets prices and gets paid.

Creators also agree to the creator agreement, which covers fees, payouts and content standards. Where the two documents disagree about creators, the creator agreement wins.

OnlyFood is the platform. The recipes, the teaching and the sessions come from creators, not from us. We are not the author of a recipe and we do not check that one works.

3. Your account

You need to be 18 or over to have an account. One person, one account. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it.

You can change your details, switch e-mail notices off, and delete your account from your profile page. Deleting removes your profile, your cook logs and your notes. Records we have to keep for accounting and tax stay for as long as the law says. If you cannot find the control, e-mail hello@onlyfood.me and we will do it within 30 days.

4. Memberships and passes

A membership to a kitchen renews every month until you cancel, and gives you that creator's paid recipes for as long as it is active. A yearly membership is 10 months for twelve and renews every year. A Recipe Pass is a one-off payment for one recipe, and it is yours to keep.

Creators set their own prices above a floor we set so that small sales still cover card processing: £3.99 a month for a membership, £2.99 for a Recipe Pass, £15 for a session and £5 for a cookalong seat. Prices are in pounds unless the kitchen says otherwise, and tax is added on top where it applies.

Ingredients and equipment lists are always free to read, on every recipe. That is a promise, not a setting. The rest of the method is what a creator can put behind the line.

Cancel a membership any time from your billing settings. Access lasts until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are on the refunds page.

5. Sessions and cookalongs

A session is a booked slot with a creator. A cookalong is a group of people cooking the same thing at the same time. Both are run by the creator, who supplies the meeting link, turns up on time and decides what happens in the room.

Each offer carries its own cancellation window, shown before you pay. Cancel inside that window and you get all of it back. If the creator cancels, you get all of it back whenever that happens. If a slot is somehow sold twice, the second payment refunds itself.

6. Creator content and licence

A creator owns what they publish. Nothing here transfers that.

By publishing, a creator gives OnlyFood a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize and display their content so that the platform can work: showing it to the members who have paid for it, and showing the free part of it — the photo, the intro, the ingredients, the first steps — to anyone, including on search engines and social cards. That is how people find a kitchen.

The licence lasts while the content is on OnlyFood, plus a short period afterwards for backups and for members who bought a Recipe Pass and still have access to it. A creator can unpublish at any time.

7. What members may and may not do

Paid content is for you. Do not copy it, post it, screenshot it into a group chat, or hand your login to anyone. Cook the food, feed your friends, tell them whose recipe it is — that part is the point.

• No sharing or reselling paid recipes, videos or session links.
• No scraping, bulk downloading, or automated access.
• No abuse of creators or other members in questions, notes or sessions.
• No attempt to get at content you have not paid for.

Recipes carry risk: heat, knives, raw ingredients, allergens. Read the ingredients list, cook to safe temperatures, and use your judgement. If you have an allergy or a medical condition, that is yours to manage — a recipe is not medical advice.

8. Takedowns and suspension

We can remove content or suspend a kitchen or an account when something is plainly wrong: content that is not the creator's to publish, a copyright complaint we have to act on, unsafe or misleading claims, fraud, chargeback abuse, or any of the rules above being broken.

We will tell you what we removed and why, by e-mail, at the same time or as soon as we can. If you think we got it wrong, reply to that e-mail within 30 days and a person will look at it again and answer. If we suspend a kitchen, the creator is still paid what they have already earned.

If content you own has been published here by someone else, e-mail hello@onlyfood.me with the link and what it is, and we will act.

9. Payments and fees

Stripe processes every payment and is the merchant of record for card data. OnlyFood never sees or stores your card number. Your card statement will show OnlyFood rather than the creator's name.

OnlyFood keeps 15% of the sticker price of a sale. The creator keeps the rest, and nothing else comes out of their share — the card processing fee comes out of OnlyFood's part, not theirs. The creator agreement sets out payouts and taxes.

10. Refunds

On its own page, because it matters: refunds. Short version: memberships are not refunded part-way through a month, a Recipe Pass is not refundable once the method is open, and sessions are fully refundable inside the cancellation window.

11. Ending it

You can leave whenever you like: cancel your memberships, then delete your account from your profile page. We can close an account for the reasons in section 8, or give you 30 days' notice if we stop running the service, in which case creators are paid what they have earned and members are refunded the unused part of anything paid in advance.

12. What we are and are not responsible for

We will run the platform with reasonable care, but we do not promise it is never offline, that a recipe works, that a creator publishes on any particular day, or that a session is worth what you paid. Those are between you and the creator.

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us exclude. Beyond that, our liability to you is limited to what you paid OnlyFood in the twelve months before the problem. [Solicitor: this cap needs checking against consumer law in England and Wales, and against the rules of every country we sell into.]

Nothing here removes your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Changes

We will update these terms as the product changes. If a change matters to you — price structure, fees, how access works — we will e-mail you at least 14 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before it does. Small corrections we will just make, and change the date at the top.

14. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. [Placeholder for the solicitor: the governing law and the consumer jurisdiction rules both need confirming once the company is registered and we know where we are selling.]
